A simple story with a strong moral lesson. When you look powerful, you have many friends, but are they real friends? Often you see that those, prejudged as nobodies, seem to be real friends and also heros.
Great lesson of kindness for little ones! I'm a psychologist and must say we need more of this...the time to begin teaching goodness, acceptance and a helping spirit, is when children are two and three....not 12. It's the type of book a child would like to hear over and over again...taking in the positive message - goodness prevails! If you have a small child nearby...buy this book.
This book is the cutest book ever! This book teaches children about helping others. This was a great purchase and an awesome read!
I'm pretty sure mum and dad helped their four year old write and/or illustrate this. I have to say it's not bad. It's just not as good as it could have been. Nowhere near it. A bit more time and effort on the illustrations (those things that make or break a picture book) would have helped.
I love this book to read to my five year old daughter. I really enjoy the message and how easily my daughter understood the story line.
