This is a great book to help you explain how agriculture plays a role in a child's life. Great read, very well illustrated.
Let me preface this by saying I might be slightly biased, but this book is delightful. Full disclosure, I was part of the team who helped select this manuscript at my day job. We helped select the illustrator — who is amazing — and ensured the accuracy of the story and illustrations. Hands down one of the coolest things I've ever worked on. And the result is just wonderful. A great read-aloud with gorgeous illustrations.
I like the book, “Right This Very Minuteâ€. It is a good book for children to learn how their food, from breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks and deserts, are grown and processed before it gets to their homes. I like that it covers a wide variety of foods grown across the United States. The pictures in the book are very nice and are very suitable for a child’s book about agriculture. I appreciate the author explaining that farmers take care of their farms to feed our country and even the world. We need more accurate agriculture books for children to read. I hope more books will follow in the “Right This Very Minute†style. Future books could include all the other products besides food that people use every day that start with a farmer. Thank you for a wonderful book!

This book is awesome! It teaches kids where their food comes from and how it gets to their table everyday. I read this book to a preschool class and they loved all the bright colorful pictures! It’s perfect for kids of all ages!
I think the illustrator did a fantastic job in this book. The book covers many agricultural topics simply and accurately. I recommend this book for every school, classroom, and home library.
